Cold forming of ferrules for power steering

Ferrules anchored at the power steering 's hydraulic hoses shall have an elevated mouldability quality, as they will suffer a crimping process at the hose. The use of cold-forming technology for the realization of this type of components, as alternative to the traditional out of a bar turned ones, exalts this feature, as the material lends itself to plastic deformation and adjusts itself perfectly to the successive crimping process.
Thanks to this property the annealing phase gets finally excluded, while it has to be considered essential on the turned part to reduce material's tensions and consequent breaking risks when crimping.
